As I said in my last post, Matt and Lynne’s wedding was one of the most unique that I’ve ever shot! The BBQ and bonfire that I showed you in part one was done the night before their wedding, and the next morning we all rose before the sun to get ready for their early ceremony. Brian and I were running on lots of coffee and pretty light the whole day–it was so worth it! We got to Post Oak Lodge as the sun was rising, and I got to take all the detail photos in the early morning light.
When Lynne told me they would be doing a just-after-sunrise first sight, I’m pretty sure I drooled a little. Look at the light! So lovely. Oh, and you can’t tell by the photos, but it was freezing when we took these. Props to Matt and Lynne for making it look perfectly normal!
Matt and Lynne’s brothers were the wedding party, and Lynne’s best friend, Hannah, officiated the ceremony–how sweet! Also, check out the awesome shots of the string quintet that Brian grabbed.
I had free reign to move around during the ceremony, so I got some lovely photos of this sweet communion moment!
The reception was a brunch with every kind of breakfast food you can imagine as well as plenty of coffee and mimosas. I loved the cozy feel of it all!
There were lots of toasts given here, which is always one of my favorite parts of receptions! Lynne’s younger brother gave the sweetest one though–it was one of those that made everyone laugh and cry and laugh again. Priceless :)
I told you it was unique! I hope you enjoyed your peek at Matt and Lynne’s wedding! Also, if you ever want to have a morning wedding, I’m totally in. Just saying!
