Are you a Valentine’s Day person? Personally, I never have been. Not for any good reason, I’ve just never been able to see the point behind designating a day to show someone you love them, when shouldn’t you do that all the time? Anyway, while I may be a Valentine’s rebel, I do love a good party theme…and I also love pink and gold and sweets and sparkles…so I guess you can see where I’m going with this.
That’s Chelsea ^, She’s probably one of the cutest people I know, and she’s one of my dearest friends! She’s getting married in April, so my mom and I threw her a little bridal shower this weekend at Cuppies and Joe (the happiest place on Earth). As I’ve mentioned before, hosting an event and taking photos at the same time is difficult, but I did my best! For Chelsea’s shower, we were inspired by this cute photo shoot on 100 Layer Cake, so we asked everyone to wear pink and gold, brought some vintage valentines and sparkly heart confetti, and had a great time!
I made the flower arrangements with a couple of bouquets of roses (bought discounted at Sprouts–score!) and some pretty fillers from Whole Foods placed in mason jars and finished with gold ribbons!
The “Always & Forever” card is from Rifle Paper Co.–which I will love always and forever.
Chelsea and I had a little photo shoot–we were missing Bethany though!

Happy Wedding, Chelsea! You’ll be the prettiest bride! Love you!
