This was our last day in London on our trip earlier this year, I usually refer to London as my “heart city” so it was sad to face leaving! We used our last day well though–we explored the neighborhood around Arsenal Stadium, spent some time enjoying Monocle Cafe, saw the BBC building, then went one last time to Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. Overall I’d call it a good day :)
2 Fun facts:
1) The old Arsenal Stadium (pictured above) is now full of luxury apartments…sooooo #goals #punintended
2) This was probably my favorite neighborhood we saw in London!
Shout out to my girl, Chelsea, who gave me my favorite travel book for London ever! Of course Monocle featured their own café as a recommendation, and I’m so glad they did. It was one of my favorite meals I had in England, and definitely my favorite coffee shop! We also got to go see their little shop, which was almost as adorable as the coffee shop.
We had some golden dramatic light when we visited Buckingham…..so that was magic.
Oh! And we went by St Paul’s as well :)
And that was it! The next day we woke up early to catch a train to Paris–I’ll show you those photos later. Until then, I hope your week is amazing!
