Happy Tuesday to you! I hope you’ve already begun dwelling on things you’re thankful for. I know Thanksgiving is a few weeks away, but we have so much to be thankful for no matter our circumstance or what time of year it is. I’ve been overwhelmed lately by all I have to be thankful for, especially as I watch many around me going through times of loss and other difficulties. My heart breaks for those dealing with the hard parts of life, and it is simultaneously bursting with gratitude for all I have been given in this season of my own life. I know my hard times will come soon enough, so I will rest in the gratitude I am learning now. That way I will be prepared to be thankful even in difficult seasons.
One of the many things I am thankful for these days is the opportunity to be a part of such a great community. Not only do I love my church, my Life Group, my Bible Study, and my family, but I also consider myself blessed to live in such a beautiful and growing city. Once upon a time, Colin and I went to explore a bit of OKC with our cameras before the sun finally went down, and those are the photos I would like to share with you today. Hopefully I will get to show you more of OKC in the time to come, but for now I hope you enjoy our little city through my lens.
This makes me want to go walk around downtown–hopefully I can again soon! I hope you can find something you’re thankful for today. I know I’m thankful for OKC….and the fact that you stopped by my blog :)
