Friday Phone Dump

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset , I don’t find myself saying ‘soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset, I watch with awe as it unfolds.”

1-3) Pretty moments in San Jose (and at home).

4) Snagged the most cinematic seat on the bus.

5-7) We spent a few days in Colorado for Colin’s cousin, Meghan’s, wedding! It was so lovely to go back to Colorado (we hadn’t been in almost 6 years!) with family and the mountains…and the snow :)

8-10) How we spent Valentine’s Day - driving in the mountains and finding a (mostly) frozen river. After this, we go to hang out with the bride and groom, the Ogilvie family, and all of their friends at the New Belgium Brewery which was just perfect.

11-12) Meghan and Jean’s wedding was the loveliest for many reasons including the presence of this photo booth! We must have gone through it 10 times with different combinations of people haha. The photo on the right is of Colin and me with his Uncle Terry and Aunt Cindy. Thanks again for having us, Colorado Ogilvies! We love and miss you ♥️

13-14) We stopped in Denver on our way to the airport so I could meet up with another of my sweet sweet coworkers, Jordana! We had a dear conversation and delicious food at a vegan bakery. Wow, I love Colorado and my sunshine gang (that’s what I call my coworkers). Thanks for hanging, Jordana! So glad we’re friends IRL now.

15-22) We came back to California to find early Spring blooms and Galentine’s Day gifts from more coworkers (thanks, Jessica++) and my best (thanks, Chersea). I’m a little overwhelmed by the warm weather and lack of rain we’re having, so hopefully it’s just a temporary pause before the rest of Winter comes back. In the meantime, I’ll be munching on those chocolate covered espresso beans!

23-24) Puppy-sitting baby Caya is fun for everyone :)

25-26) Spoils from my first watercolor class I’m taking alongside my lovely friend, Kate - I’m pretty happy considering I haven’t taken an art class since middle school and I’d never used real watercolors until this moment!

23-34) Sunshine-y details from the past week including walks through our neighborhood, sun naps on the porch, and wandering downtown :)

This weekend we’ll be adventuring a bit and doing chores (fun fun). I hope your weekend is joyful and calming!

xx
